New fretwork, frieze and turned balustrade on the street side. A restored hallway inside. A stone pool house out the back.
The job
Grange Road, Mt Eden
Grange Road is a villa restoration with a swimming pool. The verandah was rebuilt with new fretwork brackets, frieze and a turned timber balustrade, matched to the period of the house.
Inside, we restored the hallway with its wide timber floors and leadlight front door. Out the back, we built a stone pool house with hardwood decking beside the pool, opening the back of the house up to the garden.
